Founder & President

Chief Executive Officer

Matt is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of KCG. With decades of experience in the accounting and finance services sector, he has partnered with many of the world’s leading asset management firms to drive results through insight, strategy, and execution.

Matt is passionate about building long-term, trusted relationships with clients and helping them navigate complex challenges with confidence and clarity.

He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in both Accounting and Management Information Systems from LaSalle University, graduating with honors. Matt began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers before founding KCG in 2010.

Managing Director,

Head of Operations

Melissa serves as Chief of Operations at KCG, where she oversees internal operations and client engagement strategy across the firm. With a strong background in both public accounting and the asset management industry, she brings a hands-on approach to solving problems, streamlining processes, and enhancing service delivery.

Melissa is passionate about creating practical, scalable solutions that empower clients to operate more effectively and efficiently.

She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Loyola University Maryland. Melissa began her career at KPMG before joining Vanguard’s Global Financial Reporting team and later KCG in 2022.

Managing Director, 

Head of Tax Solutions

Mike leads KCG’s tax services practice, specializing in tax compliance and excise tax planning for mutual funds and private funds. With deep experience across fund structures, operational processes, and regulatory requirements, he helps clients navigate the complexities of Subchapter M, excise tax rules, and other unique industry challenges.

Mike is passionate about helping fund managers and their service providers implement tax strategies that are both practical and forward-looking, ensuring compliance while creating efficiencies.

He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from Sterling College and his Master of Taxation from the University of Denver.

Managing Director, 

Head of Growth

John serves as the Managing Director, Head of Growth at KCG and is a senior sales and operations executive with more than three decades of leadership experience driving revenue growth, market expansion, and P&L performance across the professional services, telecommunications, and technology sectors.

John is passionate about partnering with clients to bring pragmatic and effective solutions to business challenges of all types. 

Prior to his career in consulting, John served in financial and operational leadership roles at Comcast Corporation, GSI Commerce (Fanatics) and SunCom Wireless.  John began his career with Deloitte and earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Accounting from St. Joseph's University.
